1About these terms

These terms apply when you use bodiscan.com (the "website") or join the BodiScan waitlist. BodiScan is run by its founders ("we", "us", "our"). BodiScan is not yet a registered company.

By using the website or joining the waitlist, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the website.

Our privacy policy explains how we handle your personal data.

2BodiScan is in development

BodiScan is a product in early development. The website exists to tell people that BodiScan is coming and to let them join a waitlist.

We may change, pause or stop developing BodiScan at any time. We don't promise that BodiScan will launch, when it will launch, or what features it will have. Nothing on the website is an offer to provide any product or service.

3Not medical advice

BodiScan, this website, and anything we publish or send, including text, images, emails and demonstrations, are provided for general information and educational purposes only.

• They are not medical advice. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or condition, and they are not a substitute for a consultation with a doctor, physiotherapist or other qualified healthcare professional.
• Using the website or joining the waitlist does not create a doctor–patient relationship, or any other healthcare relationship, between you and us.
• Always ask a qualified healthcare professional about any medical question or condition. Never ignore professional medical advice, or delay seeking it, because of something you have read or seen from BodiScan.
• Decisions about your health and treatment should be made with a qualified healthcare professional.

4The waitlist

• You must be 18 or over to join.
• Only add your own email address.
• Joining is free, and it doesn't oblige you to use or pay for BodiScan.
• Joining doesn't guarantee that you will get access to BodiScan, or get it by a particular date. We may invite people in any order.
• If we offer early access, separate terms may apply to it. We will show them to you before you use it.
• You can leave at any time by using the unsubscribe link in our emails or by emailing us.
• We may remove an email address from the waitlist, for example if we believe it is fake or was added without its owner's permission.

5Using the website

You agree not to:

• use the website for anything unlawful or fraudulent
• try to gain unauthorised access to the website, its servers or its databases
• interfere with how the website works, for example by sending automated sign-ups, scraping it, or introducing viruses or other harmful code
• add someone else's email address to the waitlist.

We may suspend or restrict access to the website at any time. We don't guarantee that the website will always be available, or that it will be free from errors.

6Our content

The BodiScan name and logo, the body model, the website's design, and all text and images on the website belong to us or the people who license them to us. You may view the website for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, reproduce or use any of it for any other purpose without our written permission.

7Other websites

Where the website links to other websites, the links are provided for your convenience only. We have no control over those websites and are not responsible for them or their content.

8Our responsibility to you

8.1 Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be excluded or limited under the law of England and Wales. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer.

8.2 The website and the waitlist are provided free of charge and "as is". As far as the law allows, we don't promise that the website, or any information on it, is accurate, complete or up to date.

8.3 Subject to section 8.1, we are not responsible for any loss or damage arising from:

• your reliance on any information on the website or from BodiScan, including any decision you make about your health or treatment
• the website being unavailable, or any delay, change or cancellation of BodiScan's launch
• a virus or other harmful material that affects your device, data or other material through your use of the website, provided we have used reasonable care and skill
• any loss that was not reasonably foreseeable when you started using the website.

8.4 The website is for personal use only. We are not responsible to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption or loss of business opportunity.

8.5 Subject to section 8.1, our total liability to you in connection with the website and the waitlist is limited to £100.

9Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, for example as BodiScan develops. The date at the top shows when they were last changed. If you keep using the website after a change, the updated terms apply. If we make a significant change, we will let people on the waitlist know by email.

10If we become a company

We expect to set up a company to run BodiScan. When we do, we may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms, and the waitlist, to that company. We will update this page and let people on the waitlist know by email. The transfer won't reduce your rights under these terms.

11Other important terms

• If a court decides that part of these terms is unlawful, the rest of the terms stay in force.
• If we don't enforce one of these terms straight away, we can still enforce it later.
• These terms are between you and us. No one else has any right to enforce them.

12Which law applies

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring legal proceedings about them in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in the courts where you live.
